AMSTERDAM CHEESE FESTIVAL

If, like us, you’re a huge cheese lover, then the first Amsterdam Cheese Festival is truly for you! Here, you can eat unlimited cheese from all over the world, in an incredibly cool location to boot.

WHAT IS THE AMSTERDAM CHEESE FESTIVAL?

We’re organizing the first Amsterdam Cheese Festival together with our favorite cheese affineur: Kaasfort Amsterdam, from the well-known cheese shops Bourgondisch Lifestyle in Amsterdam and Beverwijk. The event, which is all about cheese, was scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 24 and Monday, October 25, 2021, but due to the extended coronavirus measures and the ongoing uncertainties surrounding these measures, it has been postponed to a date in spring 2022 yet to be determined.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

From creamy burrata, luscious Vacherin Mont d’Or, hard gruyère and everything in between; at the Amsterdam Cheese Festival, you can not only taste and buy the most delicious cheeses from the best cheesemongers (who will be there themselves), but the program also includes cheese quizzes (with great prizes—boost your cheese quiz chances of winning right here!), cheese masterclasses and other cheesy surprises. And of course, there will be plenty of delicious drinks to wash it all down.

WHERE IS THE AMSTERDAM CHEESE FESTIVAL?

The Amsterdam Cheese Festival takes place in the Posthoornkerk, a beautiful and unique location on the lively Haarlemmerstraat, within walking distance of Central Station. This church was designed by Pierre Cuypers, who also designed Central Station, the Vondelkerk and the Rijksmuseum.

HOW DO I GET TICKETS?

As soon as the new date has been set, a link will be available to order tickets directly. Stay tuned!
