AMSTERDAM WINE MARATHON

Run a marathon without being in great shape? You can! Because when it comes to the Amsterdam Wine Marathon, your fitness doesn’t play the biggest role—that’s reserved for your taste buds! Along the way, you won’t consume energy drinks and bananas, but glasses of wine and matching bites. In short, this is the most fun and delicious marathon ever!

WHAT IS THE AMSTERDAM WINE MARATHON?

The Amsterdam Wine Marathon takes place from June 19 to July 19, 2021. This is the most exciting urban event of the moment, with Amsterdam completely dedicated to wine tasting. So run to your favorite spot and don’t drink water throughout the course, but wine! You’ll get the energy you need along the way from delicious, matching bites.

More than 40 restaurants will welcome you with a wine tasting featuring 2 or 4 glasses and matching finger-food bites. And with 30 days to complete the course, you can easily visit 2 terraces a day and still take your time enjoying each terrace along the route.

Amsterdam’s most fun, delicious and beautiful hospitality venues have joined the Amsterdam Wine Marathon. HOW CAN I TAKE PART?

To attend the event, first purchase an Amsterdam.Restaurant foodie pass for 5 euros. Think of it as your starting ticket. This gives you access to all participating restaurants throughout the month, and you’ll also be able to attend other foodie events in the future.

RULES

Got your starting ticket? Then you can take part in the Amsterdam Wine Marathon! Every hospitality venue offers you a tasting of 2 or 4 sample glasses.

2 wines + 1 x finger food = 5 euros
4 wines + 2 x finger food = 10 euros
