Extremely Hot Tabasco: Tabasco’s Scorpion Sauce
Tabasco’s Scorpion Sauce is now temporarily available in the Netherlands. The hottest Tabasco ever is made with scorpion pepper, pineapple, guava and regular Tabasco pepper. It is twenty times as spicy as the classic sauce.

The Scoville scale shows how spicy a pepper is. Scorpion Sauce scores 100,000 on this scale. For comparison: sambal scores ‘only’ 2000 and Tabasco 5000. A pure scorpion pepper scores as much as 2 million, making it the second hottest pepper in the world.
Pineapple and guava
Daredevils who tried the pepper on its own were not exactly thrilled about it. To make the sauce tasty after all, sweet pineapple and guava have been added. But you should use it sparingly, so we recommend starting with just a few drops.
