4x brunch in Barcelona

Brunch Barcelona

Why eat only tapas, paella and jamón during your city trip to Barcelona? The city is bursting with brunch restaurants that are definitely worth trying.

Brunch & Cake

Near Passeig de Gràcia, you’ll find Brunch & Cake. At weekends, people regularly queue to get a table here. Understandably so, because the food is not only delicious, but also particularly beautiful and colourful. On the menu, you’ll find, among other things, French toast with dragon fruit and small avocado sandwiches with white cheese and radish. Our favourite? The ricotta pancakes with granola, yoghurt, mango and pomegranate.

LULU

Near the expansive Parc de la Ciutadella, you’ll find LULU: a place that prepares small, cold dishes. You can enjoy hearty bread with soft goat’s cheese and dates, crispy toast with plenty of salmon, a creamy spread, capers and cucumber, or a quick vegetable snack with dip. No time for an elaborate sit-down meal? Then go for a takeaway coffee with a sizeable croissant.

Alsur

In Barcelona, you won’t find many places where you can sit outside. Alsur does have its own terrace. You’ll find this place in El Borne, on Plaça Sant Cugat. In the sunshine, enjoy soft pancakes with dulce de leche, savoury sandwich waffles with cheese and bacon, and crispy bread with fresh dips.

Flax & Kale

Flax & Kale is without a doubt Barcelona’s most healthy hotspot. The menu features grass shots, ice-cold rainbow juices and ‘supertagliatelle’. They also serve a special açai bowl with a delicious chestnut crumble and cashew milk. Want to sit in the sunshine (and somewhere really cosy)? Ask whether there is still room on the rooftop terrace.
