Aldi launches wine advent calendar

Chocolates in an advent calendar were fun when you were four, but now it’s time for the good stuff. How about pulling a bottle of wine out of your calendar every day?

Last year, we were still thrilled about the cheese calendar; this year, supermarket chain Aldi is releasing a special wine calendar. The calendar was already released in England last year, but this year we can buy it in the Netherlands too. What have we done to deserve all this happiness?

Red, white or bubbles?

This enormous calendar contains 24 mini bottles of wine; counting down to Christmas has never been so enjoyable. Each bottle contains 200 ml, enough for two glasses. Red wine, white wine, port or perhaps bubbles—what does each day have in store for you? The box is available exclusively at Aldi for €49.99. And don’t finish the entire calendar in one go like you used to with that chocolate, okay?
