Aldi’s mini fridge is ideal for lazy people

The step counter hasn’t hit 10,000 in weeks, you’ve finished Netflix, you’re halfway through Videoland, and the only body part still getting any exercise is your swiping thumb. Sound familiar?

Then it probably also sounds familiar that the kitchen can sometimes feel really, really far away. Tricky, because you do want a refreshing drink while gaming, swiping and binge-watching. The troubles of the lazy person. Such is life.

Mini

Luckily, Aldi now has a great offer for that: a mini fridge at an equally mini price. It can’t hold much: the fridge compartment is 36 litres and the freezer compartment 4 litres. But that’s exactly enough for a bottle of soft drink or wine, a few cans of beer and some snacks. Add some ice cubes and you’re all set. Just enough to save yourself that oh-so-terrible return trip to the kitchen—with all the snacking risks that entails.

How much does it cost?

What will it cost your lazy ass? 89.99 euros, to be precise. Including a 3-year warranty. I do have to disappoint the truly extremely lazy person: it can’t be ordered online, so you’ll have to pick up and carry the 15-kilo fridge yourself from the store. The offer starts on Saturday, April 25.
