All-day breakfast at Lilith in 010

The all-day breakfast bar Lilith is a phenomenon in Rotterdam. At this establishment on Nieuwe Binnenweg, you can enjoy breakfast dishes such as American pancakes, eggs benedict, smoothie bowls and ‘coffee to die for’ all day long, as well as drinks and dinner. 

Lilith started as a pop-up bar on Mauritsstraat (a side street of Oude Binnenweg) and later moved to a spot in the Kaap district. Restless and ambitious, owner Chantal Damen moved for the third time last year to a larger location where an extensive terrace, drinks licence and dinner menu bring even more of her dreams together.

Breakfast & brinner

The successful formula behind the breakfast dishes is one of simplicity and originality: keep it simple and do what you do very well. It is sometimes whispered that you can get the best pancakes in Rotterdam here. Sweet, with fresh fruit or Nutella, or savoury, with crispy bacon and maple syrup or smoked salmon and spinach. Dinner fits seamlessly into this formula. Small dishes, reasonably priced between €5 and €10, such as tacos with beans and guacamole, burgers with beer and sweet potato fries, Thai rice pudding or vegan miso soup with noodles.

Edgy entourage

The changing menu is written in Gothic lettering (the same style as the logo) on the black walls. The vintage furniture, paraphernalia and plants create a relaxed living-room atmosphere. From Monday to Friday, you can take a seat from as early as 7:00 a.m., and at weekends Lilith opens at 8:30 a.m.
