Tong Tong Festival, The Hague

An Indonesian celebration on the Malieveld in The Hague. Everything from Indonesian culture is represented, from dance to food. The festival is part of the Tong Tong Fair, which takes place in various themed theatres throughout the city. Check the programme online day by day.

Taste of Amsterdam

For the eighth time, Amstelpark is transformed into a culinary spectacle. For four days, you’ll find favourite Amsterdam restaurants, culinary participants, chefs, theatre, tastings, workshops and music.
Where and when?
Amstelpark 1 Europaboulevard, 2 to 5 June. On Thursday they start at 17:00, on Friday at 15:00, and on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00. Every day you’re welcome until 23:00.

Lepeltje Lepeltje, Dordrecht

This intimate cultural food festival consists of food, bands, DJs and a market with artisanal products. Admission is free.
Where and when?
Weizigtpark, van Baerleplantsoen 30, 3 to 5 June. Every day you can start from 12:00 and stay until late in the evening.

Healthy Fest, Zeewolde

This festival is all about sport, mind and food. For three days there are all kinds of workshops and training sessions by sports coaches. Something different from finding your zen through street food.
Where and when?
Center Parcs de Eemhof, 3 to 5 June. Tickets are available online.

Food Truck Festival Wheels ’n Bites, Heerlen

With the ingredients ‘Food, Drinks, Music & Pleasure’, this three-day festival revolves around experiencing those four elements. It is the first edition of this festival in the south of the Netherlands. Admission is free.

Spijs food festival

The location for this festival is Venlo’s old marina. The food trucks will be set up around the bobbing boats. There is a chair swing ride, artistic entertainment and music. In Venlo’s rice fields, the organisers invite you to come and relax with your own picnic blanket – or furniture.

Neighbourfood (& flea market), Den Bosch

This festival has an end-of-day programme and a morning programme that connect with each other. On Saturday, drinks start from four o’clock. On Sunday morning there is music to wake up to from eleven in the morning.

Love for Life, Utrecht

Love for Life is an event for food, body & mind, and specifically for people looking for a more conscious lifestyle. A festival all about finding balance, where you leave with inspiration and information about exercise, healthy eating and making time for one another.
Where and when?
Jaarbeursplein, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June from 10:00 to 17:00.

SummerFest, Cadzand

Summer is ushered in in Cadzand by none other than Syrco Bakker and Sergio Herman with the SummerFest festival. It will be a day full of special acts, speakers, food trucks, barbecues, artists, and national and international performers.
Where and when?
Strandkerk Cadzand bad, Monday 6 June. The party runs from 12:00 to 23:00, and the last tickets are available here.

Culinair Heiloo Rootring-wijnen

At this festival you’ll get to know various restaurants from Heiloo and the surrounding area.  Landgoed Willibrordus will be entirely dedicated to culinary food and drink.
Where and when?
Landgoed Willibrordus, 10 to 12 June. Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 00:00, Sunday from 14:00 to 22:30.

Bacchus Wine Festival, Amsterdam

Wine and music, lots of music. Each day of the festival, the music is provided by someone different. Namely: Frits, Disco Dolly, 22Tracks, Vrijmibodisco, Chicago Social Club and Festimi. Various wine tastings are offered by at least thirteen different wine experts.

De Foodmarkt, Harderwijk

A mix of local entrepreneurs and food trucks from across the country will come together this weekend. Alongside plenty of attention to food, there will also be a focus on craft beer and wine.
Where and when?
Stille wei (boulevard), 10 to 12 June. Friday from 17:00 to 23:30, Saturday from 12:00 to 23:30 and Sunday from 13:00 to 21:00.

Butcher’s Heaven, Amsterdam

This festival, led by Julius Jaspers, transforms the Centrale Markthal in Amsterdam into a paradise for carnivores. The entire weekend is about meat in the broadest sense of the word. Will you learn to make sausages like Brandt en Levie, or learn to butcher meat from Gertjan Kiers?

Almere KOOKT

The food and music caravan will also visit Almere this summer. For four days, the Esplanade will be transformed into the Netherlands’ largest open-air restaurant. There will be countless food trucks, pop-up restaurants, performances, grill masters, surprising wines and a beer garden.

Esplanade, 17 to 19 June. Daily from 12:00 to 23:00. Admission is free.

Foodtruck Festival Stoer Voer, Deventer

In Rijsterborgherpark, centrally located in Deventer near the station, the best and toughest food trucks (mainly) from Deventer and the eastern Netherlands set up camp. Stoer Voer also has an extensive programme of activities with DJs spinning their tunes into the park from vinyl, a special programme centred on flavour experiences, live music, a regional and goods market, and children’s entertainment.

Rijsterborgherpark, 17 to 19 June. Friday from 16:00 to 00:00, Saturday and Sunday start at 12:00, and on Sunday the festival closes its doors at 22:00.

Big Green Egg’s Flavour Fair, Beesd

On Sunday 19 June, an ode to the Green Egg will be held in the Gelderland village of Beesd. The craft of this barbecue is showcased in all kinds of ways. Alongside attention to meat and fish, there is also pastry. Order your tickets online quickly; there are only a few left.

Grill ’n Chill Festival, Groningen

The very first edition of this event combining food with music. On Thursday 23 June, the party starts at 16:00, with hammocks hung up, food and music, lazy beanbags and various festival bonuses.

Groningen. The exact location will be announced once the event reaches 400 Facebook likes. Thursday 23 June, starting at 16:00.

Food Unplugged, Ede

Food Unplugged is the first food festival putting honest food from farmers and independent caterers in the spotlight. From farm to festival with extraordinary workshops, lectures and inspiring products. The festival is aimed at food professionals, with a wide range of masterclasses and workshops.

Foodfestival Schinkel, Amsterdam

Foodfestival Amsterdam is going on tour, each time at surprising locations in and around Amsterdam. The first pop-up edition has now announced two food trucks, Everything On A Stick and L’Entrecôte Mobile.

Lepeltje Lepeltje, Utrecht

Eat, dance and flirt during the Lepeltje Lepeltje weekend in Lepelenburg Park, Utrecht. Admission is free, and every day you can dance until late in the evening.

Lepelenburg Park, 24 to 26 June. Every day from 12:00 until late in the evening.

Proef de Krimpenerwaard, Krimpen aan den IJssel

Music, entertainment, food artists, tastings and above all: lots of delicious food from the beautiful Krimpenerwaard.
Where and when?
IJsseldijk 312, Saturday 25 June from 14:00 to 22:00.

BARREL Food Truck Fest, Emmen

BARREL is making its debut this year, in the northern city of Emmen. What can you expect? Various types of street food, from healthy to comfort food.
Where and when?
Centrumplein, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June. From 13:00 to 22:00 on Saturday; on Sunday the festival closes at 20:00.

Foodtruck Festival Stoer Voer, Enschede

The toughest food trucks are gathering in Enschede. You can also become a crew member for this festival; take a quick look at what you need to do.

Food Truck Festival TREK

In collaboration with 24Kitchen, TREK is transforming nine Dutch parks into open-air restaurants this year. On the programme: food, live music and theatre. The festival also offers a stage to as-yet-unknown singing, music and theatre talent. Admission is free; pets are not allowed.

Eten op rolletjes

Eten op Rolletjes will be in eight cities this year, including Arnhem, Hilversum and Haarlem. Bring your own picnic blanket, or eat at one of the long wooden tables. Alongside lots of food, there is also entertainment, from chair swing rides to theatre performances. Admission is free.

Rrrollend

Rrrollend is a travelling food truck festival that will visit nineteen cities this year. There are also all kinds of activities for young and old. Admission is free.
