Beer and Sausage at De Leckere

De Leckere is known for its organic beers from Utrecht. And from now on, they also have their own café with beer (cocktails), sausage, cheese and a sun-drenched terrace. What’s not to like?

All this deliciousness is served at the Werkspoorkathedraal. The place where railway equipment was manufactured for many years. In the old paint shop, the kegs gleam invitingly, filled with beers that you can all sample.
Plank challenge
And then, at least as important, the food. Think fresh sausages such as saucijzen and Veluwe sausage from organic butcher Gerrit Takke, brewer’s spent grain bread (bread made from the by-product of beer) and local cheeses. Order them separately or go for a large platter to share everything.
This is a great place to sit with friends, but the impressive upper room can also be rented for drinks receptions and parties. With the rails still in the floor, this space exudes craftsmanship. Werkspoorcafé has continued this tradition with its robust, delicious and local cuisine.
