Best deal of the week: this Lidl BBQ with more than 30% off

Today’s tip comes with a personal review: I actually own this product myself, so I can confirm that it’s a great buy. And when I saw that it’s now being sold at a hefty discount through Lidl’s virtual checkout, I obviously had to recommend it. I’ve had this BBQ for over three years now and it really is excellent, although I didn’t buy it at this bargain price. Unfortunately.

The Grillmeister Gas BBQ 6 + 1 normally costs €219 (in other words: the price I paid for it back then), but this gem is now available for €149. A classic case of being a fool not to take advantage of it, if you ask me.

I love shopping at Lidl, especially since I discovered the Lidl Plus app. You can sign up for it free of charge, and it offers plenty of benefits both in-store and online. For example, it immediately saves you €70 when you buy this BBQ and, if you use the same financial logic as I do, that’s simply pure profit.

And this really is a fantastic thing: I’ve used it so often for barbecuing with larger groups, there’s plenty of room to put your ingredients on, and besides the grilling surface, there’s also a gas burner for, say, a pan of soup or sauce. On the other side, there’s another shelf for placing your kitchen utensils. The fact alone that I can manage with this says enough—barbecuing is generally not something I’m particularly good at, after all.
