Blue latte is a thing

We know the green matcha trend (literally everything turned green), but what surprises us now: blue matcha latte

This trend has, of course, blown over from America and by now we have to embrace it too, because Instagram is full of it. Go all out with colorful toppings and you have a blue unicorn latte. Hysterical, right?

Blue is the new green

Where green matcha is made from tea leaves, the blue powder is made from dried butterfly pea flowers. It also works nicely in smoothies and mixed into yogurt, by the way. Oh, and a free Instagram tip: with a little lemon juice, the blue turns slightly purple.
