Coming soon: the cucumber zoo

Curious Cucumber Zoo

On 14 June, World Cucumber Day, the cucumber zoo in Amsterdam will open its gates. The Curious Cucumber Zoo was established by two anonymous visionaries with a particular interest in exotic cucumbers.

Until 18 June, you can admire the exhibition at Ten Katestraat 117, featuring not only eccentric cucumbers, but also cocktails inspired by the collection. The unusual zoo was established by Hendrick’s Gin.

Adopt a cucumber and cucumber nursery
Hendrick’s considers building a bond with your cucumber so important that you can also adopt a virtual cucumber to look after. Upon adoption, you will also receive an official certificate.

There will also be a cucumber nursery at the Zoo, because they encourage everyone not to leave their own cucumber at home by itself.

Admission to the unusual zoo is free, but reservations are required. This can be done via the event page.
