Culinary Bible by Ferran Adrià

The ultimate bible for molecular gastronomy is on its way. Legendary Ferran Adrià, former head chef of El Bulli, is creating a 35-volume encyclopaedia series in which he will compile all knowledge in the field of (molecular) gastronomy. We’re already buying a new bookcase.

Ferran is the founder of molecular cuisine and is regarded as the best chef in the world. He created various culinary works of art, including smoked foam and melon caviar. His restaurant El Bulli, where he devised all his masterpieces, was named the best restaurant five times by Worlds 50’s Best Restaurants.
Bullipedia
The 35 books in the series, which will be called Bullipedia, each contain 500 pages, and Ferran plans to publish them all over the course of four years. Everything you could want to know about gastronomy at the highest level will be covered in this series. One of the volumes, for example, focuses on the history of food.
The first edition, Bebibas, is about drinks and was published in Spanish as early as November 2017. Two more volumes about drinks are planned: these will focus on wine and cocktails and will be released over the course of 2018. We can’t wait for Ferran to announce the other subjects.
