Dutch pride in the kitchen, regional dishes or beautiful melting pots. We love them all. Sometimes they arise spontaneously, like the kapsalon, and sometimes they are established concepts, such as the bitterbal. And very soon, a new creation will be added—namely yours.

Did you know, for example, that hagelslag was invented by liquorice manufacturer Venco? When the director was walking through a hailstorm, he came up with the idea that white anise-flavoured granules would taste delicious on bread. Surely you have a wonderful story like that which the whole of the Netherlands should hear. So move over, raket, tompouce and kapsalon—your dish or drink is going to become the new favourite.
