Delivery by drone

As a regular customer of delivery services, you probably know the struggle all too well. Your burger arrives lukewarm and your pizza has gone soggy. Because yes, the traffic wasn’t exactly cooperating. Or quite the opposite: within ten minutes, the order is right in front of you, but after a wild ride on the back of the scooter, that poké bowl is completely unrecognisable.

And we haven’t even mentioned the life-threatening situations in which poorly paid delivery drivers put themselves every day to satisfy your hunger as quickly as possible. Uber came up with the ultimate solution to all these problems: delivery by drone.

Flying burgers
The gigantic company has been given the green light to carry out the first tests of its new project. Do you live in San Diego? Then rice tables and spareribs will soon be flying past your ears. With this new development, Uber hopes to largely solve traffic chaos in urban areas. The company also claims it can reduce delivery times to a maximum of five minutes.
Do we like the sound of it? We’ll have to think about that. Maybe, in the meantime, we’ve secretly grown attached to our favourite delivery driver.
