Dessert Bible by Rutger van den Broek wins the 2023 Golden Cookbook Audience Award

The Food and Friends Golden Cookbook election is an initiative of the CPNB Foundation and Food and Friends. This year, no fewer than two prizes can be won: there is both a jury prize and an audience award. With Dessert Bible, Rutger van den Broek won the 2023 Golden Cookbook Audience Award.

Rutger, who won the first season of Heel Holland Bakt, has already written several baking books, including Rutger bakt, Masterclass cakes, Het hartige bakboek, Het makkelijke bakboek, Rutger bakt de 100 allerbeste recepten and De Bakatlas. More than 150,000 copies of his bestsellers Bakbijbel and Koekjesbijbel have now been sold.
It makes sense, because his bakes are always a hit. Somehow, he always knows exactly what we want to make. Plus—and this is why we’re an even bigger fan—his recipes are always easy to prepare. We’ve already served his Bossche bollen and yogurt-Amaretto bavarois at the table quite a few times. Our latest obsession: chocolate salami.
The most delicious dessert recipes
With more than 300 different desserts, you’ll be sweet for quite some time with his award-winning book Dessert Bible. In it, Rutger shares the most delicious dessert recipes. The various chapters feature fruit, pudding, French classics and ice cream, among other things. We previously shared the incredibly delicious recipe for caramel ice cream, the dream of every caramel lover!
