With two French restaurants in Amsterdam and that captivating accent of his, you can assume that everything is in good hands. It was only a matter of time before our favorite culinary Frenchman published a reference book on French cuisine. In The Bible of French Cuisine, Alain takes you on a journey through all of France. From eggs poached in red wine sauce from Lyon to Normandy apple tart. His beautiful new book is the inspiration for the three-course menu he will be cooking for you this evening.

He is hosting the evening at De Nieuwe KHL (Amsterdam) together with Jonah Freud: cookbook reviewer and owner of the Kookboekhandel in Amsterdam. The two will mingle throughout the evening for a friendly chat and answer all your questions about French cuisine. Curious about how to get that ultimate crispy sugar crust on your crème brûlée?
