Make the dish Ratatouille just as they prepare it in the Pixar film of the same name. 

You will never get the dish quite as colourful and elegant as the ratatouille in the Pixar film. The reason? The stewed and baked vegetables never retain their bright colours. So it looks deceptively delicious in the film, but with this recipe you can make it yourself. And your ratatouille will look (almost) the same.

People Are Ordering Food Online en Masse

Many people stayed home on the cold King’s Day, as shown by the number of orders on Thuisbezorgd.nl. During the holiday, twenty-five per cent more people ordered their food via the site than expected. Yesterday was the busiest ordering day of the year, apart from New Year’s Day. On that day, 1.3 million meals were delivered to people’s homes. Despite the crowds in the capital, it took delivery drivers an average of only one minute longer to deliver the food.

Pay it Forward

In the Netherlands, you can already order a ‘suspended coffee’ in various places. This means that, in addition to your own coffee, you also pay for a coffee for someone who cannot afford one at that moment. In a sense, you donate a coffee. A British bakery, Le Pain Quotidien, has now launched its own campaign based on the same principle, but for meals. As a guest, you can now order one or two extra dishes. Just like with the coffee, an unknown person can order and eat this meal for free. Various options have been devised so that everyone can participate in the ‘pay it forward’ concept. For example, you can donate an amount of your choice or top up a gift card for someone.
