Done with ramen and sushi? Eat this instead

Miljuschka Witzenhausen travelled to Japan for 24Kitchen to discover authentic Japanese food. Which dish does she think should come to the Netherlands as soon as possible?

“I had a curry with shredded meat that was so tender! They simply call it Japanese curry. You often get chicken karaage with it too, delicious.”

“It would also be great if you could get real tempura somewhere in the Netherlands. A Japanese tempura master would have to come to the Netherlands, because honestly, what we’re doing here now is simply an insult to Japanese cuisine. It can be so delicious, and it’s also interesting for the vegetarians among us because it’s a fantastic way to prepare vegetables.”
