2000 fast food calories visualized
Both men and women need around 2,000 to 2,500 calories a day. Business Insider looked at what that number of calories looks like in meals from thirteen fast-food chains in the US. The result? It adds up quickly: a burger, fries sauce, fries and a milkshake from Shake Shack already contain 2,200 calories. So you can easily eat that in one sitting. Breakfast and dinner have not even been included yet.
