What’s your meal-planning IQ?

Some people plan their meals a week ahead, while others only decide what’s for dinner tonight once they’re at the supermarket. But how do you know what kind of meal planner you are? Fortunately, there’s now a meal-planning IQ test to find out. The perfect solution to a problem we didn’t know we had.

Food film deserves an Oscar nomination

The food documentary Knife Skills has been nominated for an Oscar. The film is about a restaurant whose employees are formerly incarcerated people, and about the healing powers of good food. Besides a great story, the film obviously also features plenty of delicious food. You can’t stream the film, but it is shown regularly at film festivals. For now, it isn’t available to watch in the Netherlands, but we hope that will soon change.

A comic book by Anthony Bourdain

He announced it back in July, but now it’s finally happening: Bourdain is releasing a comic book about food. And it won’t stop at one book—there will even be a four-part series. Don’t think you can sit down and read this peacefully, because these are horror stories. It isn’t called Hungry Ghosts for nothing. The books are released on January 31, but you can pre-order them now.

All-day breakfast at Sunny’s

Who says breakfast is only allowed in the morning? They must have thought the same thing at Zonnatura, because the well-known organic brand has opened an all day breakfast pop-up bar in Amsterdam. At Sunny’s, you can eat organic muesli bowls all day long for the next three weeks. And everything is 100% organic, even the paint on the walls.
