François Geurds opens Franky’s Grill
Star chef François Geurds is opening a new concept at his Rotterdam FG Food Labs: Franky’s Grill. And we can say with certainty: everything that comes off the grill here is unbelievably delicious.
This top chef does not take anything lightly. François Geurds is the only chef in Dutch gastronomy with his own flavor laboratory. There, he experiments until perfection is achieved; until that moment, the creation simply does not reach your plate.

Time and again, he manages to surprise us with new ideas from his FG Foodlabs. Whether it concerns a single dish or an entirely new concept. Last year, for example, we visited his S.O.S street food bar. And now there is something new again: Franky’s Grill. A place where soul food and conviviality come together without any formal fuss. From September 25, this is the spot in Rotterdam for wonderful grilled dishes. Think tender ribs, delicious fresh fish and surprising grilled dishes that are still a secret. Vegetarians are also well catered for here.

Franky’s Grill is open from Wednesday through Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come and join us, be surprised by the no-nonsense menu and taste what grilling at the highest level is like. You might even run into François himself while he is stoking a fire. You will find Franky’s Grill in the atmospheric Food Labs, an attraction in its own right, at this location beneath Rotterdam’s Hofbogen.
