Go to: Camp Moonrise

Foodies and festival fanatics, listen up. You go to this three-day festival for the music, theater and art, but above all for the food program. It consists of tastings, food trucks, workshops and food talks with, among others, Joris Bijdendijk, Marijn van Berlo and Guus Thijssen. Convinced yet? We are.

At Camp Moonrise, you eat at pop-up restaurant The Greenhouse, a collaboration between Guus Thijssen (Guustronomie) and Joris Bijdendijk (RIJKS). A different theme takes center stage during lunch each day, served by various progressive guest chefs. In the evening, you eat the Moonrise menu: entirely vegetarian and made with local products from farmers in the area surrounding the festival.

You will also encounter the art of cooking and tasting everywhere. Chef Alain Caron (Café Caron) will appear together with his sons to showcase their culinary skills. Take part in various workshops and tastings too. For example, make your own sausage according to your own recipe, under the guidance of Brandt & Levie.
The Winery Area
Drinks are also widely represented at the festival, alongside food. In the special wine area, tasting, observing and learning take center stage. Start the day with wine yoga, test your wine knowledge and take a crash course in oenology if necessary. You can also test the knowledge of that one friend who claims to know a lot about wine. With a shock collar for dogs. Sip or shock?
