Go to the Gin Festival

On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 May, the second edition of the Gin Festival will take place in Amsterdam. Not only will you learn all the ins and outs of this immensely popular drink, there will also – of course – be plenty of tasting.

The festival will take place at Undercurrent, located on the NDSM wharf overlooking the water. Especially for the event, a free ferry will run between the venue and Central Station.

Programme
Upon arrival, you will receive a tasting glass and a Gin Guide, in which you can find everything available on the premises. You can taste for free at every stand. If you like it enough for more, you can buy a drink. There is a choice of more than 200 brands, so you will be busy for a while.

There is also plenty to eat, so you won’t have to subsist on a liquid dinner alone. Nevertheless, drinks take centre stage. There are 120 Gins, 14 Tonics, 13 Genevers and 12 Vermouths. All day long, speakers from every corner of the world will tell you about their profession, whether it involves developing or packaging the drink.

For € 25,- you can get a presale ticket for Friday and for € 21.50 on Saturday. An additional € 5,- will be charged at the door.
