Three different – ‘handpicked’ – wines, mainly from young, small-scale and independent winemakers. The two enthusiastic founders, Bas Houweling and Joost Tendeloo, search for undiscovered European wines. Wines that are not available anywhere else in the Netherlands. “We think it’s important to shake hands with the winemaker who picks the grapes himself. That keeps it personal, and allows us to bring stories directly from the vineyard,” says Joost.

Six wines based on a theme, selected by young top sommeliers who serve good wines every day. With this wine box, they do so at your home too. Each sommelier selects a wine that they really connect with. On their online community WE ARE SOMMOS, they share tips, tell stories and search for gems on the wine market. For each wine box, they work with importers and Michelin-starred chefs to provide the finest wines with gastronomic tips and recipes. The upcoming theme is BBQ.

VINOBOX – a healthy soul cannot live in a dry body
This is the most diverse of the bunch. You can vary the style (Good, Better or Best), frequency and quantity. Each box always contains 6 different wines, so the larger your box, the more identical bottles of each type it contains (1, 2 or 3). Vinobox is part of the online wine shop Wijnpakhuis.
