HEMA launches vegan apple crumble pie

HEMA’s apple crumble pie remains a classic for (office) birthdays. The only shame is that, as a vegan, you can’t eat it. Until now, that is: HEMA is introducing a one-hundred-percent plant-based version of the popular pie.

HEMA has answered all vegans’ prayers: from now on, there is a vegan version to replace the regular apple crumble pie. You read that right—the old apple crumble is a thing of the past and is making way for a pie that everyone can enjoy. Unless you eat gluten-free, that is.
Plant-based
HEMA spent a long time developing the plant-based apple crumble pie. They noticed that there is huge demand for vegan options. The pie contains plant-based margarine instead of butter and doesn’t contain any eggs. The pie is available at all HEMA stores with a bakery department or can be ordered online. It will continue to be available for the modest price of just €4.50. You can once again hand out a HEMA pie at your birthday.
Still more in the mood for butter? The regular apple pie is (still) not vegan.
