Hotspot: MR PORTER opens in Barcelona
Mr Porter goes Barça! After its great success in Amsterdam, Mr Porter is now also making the leap to the Catalan capital. And we can’t think of a better place than Barcelona: food for days. Planning a trip to Barcelona? This place is a must-eat.
For those who (still) don’t recognize the name: Mr Porter is a fine-dining steakhouse located at the top of design hotel W Amsterdam. What should you expect? Dishes such as sirloin steak and lamb osso buco. But there are also plenty of delicious options on the menu for vegetarians and fish lovers. And all of this comes with a rooftop and a killer view over the entire city!
Mr Porter has a drinks menu that commands respect (or in our case: let’s have another round).. The cocktails are #instaworthy. Just like the interior and the crowd, by the way. Because hey, the eye wants something too. So put on your highest heels or finest suit and practice your #flawless selfie face, because this hotspot is truly about seeing and being seen.

Mr Porter Barcelona opens on Thursday, June 6, and if we’re to believe the organizers, you’ll find at least as much luxury in Barça as in Amsterdam, but with a Spanish twist. The restaurant can be found in the new SIR Victor hotel, on the shopping street Paseo de Gracia. This street is the go-to for all culinary minds and anyone who enjoys luxury (window) shopping.
Although the food at Mr Porter Barça will attract the most attention, the 360-degree bar in the restaurant is certainly not to be missed either. A big fan of the Amsterdam location? Then it’s definitely worth taking a look.
