Iconic restaurant The White Room* celebrates its 135th anniversary with an exclusive dinner

To celebrate Restaurant The White Room*’s 135th anniversary, NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is pulling out all the stops. Chef de Cuisine Randy Karman is delving into the recipes from one of the very first menus together with Jacob Jan Boerma to present these dishes again, with added Michelin flair. And you can be there!

The White Room* (the White Room) is the oldest restaurant in Amsterdam. To celebrate this momentous occasion, a special six-course dinner will be hosted, based on a menu from 1885.

On 15 and 16 September, The White Room* will present the Celebration Dinner. The price is €135, including Perrier-Jouët Champagne, bites and amuse-bouches. Reservations can be made via the booking tool on The White Room’s website.

But there’s more…

From 14 to 27 September, the public spaces of NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky will be transformed into a historical exhibition space where you can discover all the hidden stories about Amsterdam’s oldest restaurant. Everyone is welcome from 14 September to admire The White Room *’s historical collection at NH Collection Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.

From 17 September, the hotel’s café and bar, Grand Café Krasnapolsky and Bar The Tailor, will also draw inspiration from recipes of the past and introduce their own menu specials. At Bar The Tailor, for example, you can enjoy a punch based on an old recipe but given a modern twist.
