Last Time Cooking with Van Boven

We have good news and bad news. There will be a new season of Cooking with Van Boven, but it will be the very last season. That’s quite a shame, because we can never get enough of Yvette (number 2 in the FavorFlav top 100).

In the new season, Yvette uses products that we normally throw away. For example, she serves stubborn weeds, because ‘if you can’t beat them, eat them’. And it turns out to be incredibly tasty, too. When she travels to France, she prepares offal, such as liver, brains and tripe, together with chef Stéphane Reynaud. Ideal for making a frikandel speciaal.

In addition to wasteless cooking, she visits French routiers; restaurants originally intended for truck drivers. There, she cooks a real trucker’s lunch. You can look up the dishes she makes here.
