The name says it all: Madame Jeanette refers to the blazing-hot peppers used in the Surinamese dishes you can get here. Because what the jalapeño is to Mexico, the Madame Jeanette is to Suriname. Don’t worry, the hot peppers aren’t used throughout the entire menu.
