For anyone who doesn’t know mango sticky rice yet: the dish consists of a soft, ripe, sweet mango with steamed sticky rice, coconut sauce with a small pinch of salt and crispy fried mung beans, served on a banana leaf. And believe me: it’s delicious.

Who wants a bite?

While singing, Milli took a bite of mango sticky rice and asked the audience who wanted a bite. And it went viral immediately. Since then, the traditional delicacy has been ordered non-stop in Thailand. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha even announced that mango sticky rice would be nominated for the Unesco list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
