Momo’s at Tibet

We have a serious dumpling obsession in the editorial office. Sometimes a really good dumpling leaves us completely speechless, which is quite an achievement.

Restaurant Tibet is located on Lange Niezel in the middle of Amsterdam’s Red Light District. In itself, not the place you would quickly go for a good meal. But if you want to eat some of the juiciest dumplings ever, please go here.
Momo
Momo dumplings are typical Tibetan dumplings that are also widely eaten in Nepal. They can contain different types of meat, and there are also vegetarian varieties. In any case, they are usually seasoned with onion, garlic, coriander and cumin. The dough is quite firm and a little chewy, but in a good way.
Dumplings for life
At Tibet, you can choose from soup dumplings, beef, vegetables or spicy dumplings. You can order them steamed or fried. Our advice: go with two people and order them all. What we tasted from the rest of the menu was okay, but nowhere near as delicious as the dumplings.
