Must-have: crispy chili oil in your Christmas tree

Of all the amazing Christmas baubles I’ve seen this year — from the coolest drink baubles for the tree to the best snack baubles — this is definitely my favorite. A jar of crispy chili oil is exactly what my Christmas tree is still missing.

It makes perfect sense, too, because my life has become so much tastier since discovering crispy chili oil. It all started with a cuttlefish dish I ate at restaurant Wils*. The secret to the success of this recipe turned out to be crispy chili oil, and just like chef Thomas, I’ve been addicted to the stuff ever since. I cook with it frequently, too. Parmesan polenta with crispy chili oil, crispy chili eggs and even tofu becomes truly delicious with it.
