Never forget: Koetjesrepen

The only reason you ordered a hot drink in a café as a child was because it came with a biscuit. And if that biscuit turned out to be a Koetjesreep, your day couldn’t get any better.
 
And rightly so, by the way. We don’t know what they put in Koetjesrepen, but what we do know is that once you’ve had one, there’s a good chance the whole bag will follow. The chocolate is softer, creamier and sweeter than your average bar, meaning you can see the bottom of that bag much sooner than you’d actually like.

Another reason to buy a bag of Koetjesrepen: you can make this mousse with them. All you need is 255 grams of Koetjesrepen (17 pieces), 500 millilitres of soy cream and 3 whole Koetjesrepen. It’s so easy, even a child could do it.
