Oh: Lidl is now selling potato croquettes filled with cheese
This takes me right back to my childhood, and in a positive way: potato croquettes. It was always such a treat when they were on the dinner menu. We often ate them with creamed spinach, which I don’t think I’ve ever had since I moved out. I miss it. So I need to get to Lidl quickly, because they have something new in their range that fits the bill perfectly.
Potato croquettes, but filled. With spinach. Well, that’s a win-win. There are two varieties of these filled potato croquettes, so I’m going to get both of them.
Run to Lidl
Naturally, they’re on the shelves at a Lidl price again: € 2.69. You can get them with spinach and mozzarella or with cream cheese and herbs. My eight-year-old self is doing a little jump for joy. If they had had these back then, I would have been a much easier eater, that’s for sure.
So do you know what I’m having for dinner tonight? These potato croquettes filled with cream cheese and herbs, and I’ll make my own creamed spinach to go with them. Ah, the good old days.
