It doesn’t matter what you choose at Gys in Utrecht (the location in R’dam has just opened),because nothing costs more than ten euros. There are two locations, on Voorstraat and a second establishment on Amsterdamsestraatweg. You can eat there or cycle by to take your food home. The menu mainly features vegetarian and vegan dishes, but committed meat-eaters can also order a hamburger or a meat platter.

Gys also has its own beer, made by Utrecht brewery de Leckere. Not in the mood for alcohol? There are also fresh smoothies. For example, carrot-pineapple with orange and ginger or apple-mint with cucumber and celery. You’ll be all set for less than fifteen euros.
