New peanut butter shop

In just over a month, the Netherlands’ first peanut butter shop will open—in Amsterdam, no less. What makes the shop so special? You can buy ten types of freshly ground peanut butter there, for example with sea salt caramel, and coconut and raisin-fennel. Until this shop opens, you can visit Ekoplaza supermarket to use a machine to make your own freshly ground jar of peanut butter.

Take a lunch break

In the United States, approximately half of people eat lunch alone and 62 percent eat their sandwich behind their computer. Unhealthy. Don’t do it. The walk to the lunchroom provides some extra exercise, and because you talk to colleagues, you unconsciously eat a little less. And perhaps the most important reason: you become more productive when you take a break now and then, because afterward you’re ready to get back to work.

Happy Goggles from McDonald’s

Google Glass, move over. McDonald’s is now introducing the Happy Goggles. These virtual reality goggles are included in the Happy Meal, and children have to assemble them themselves. They can then use the goggles and a special app on their phone to play Slope Stars (a skiing game). This is definitely a little more exciting than the Spider-Man figures, moving Minions or cars that used to be in the box.
