Pimp Easter eggs with Cool Whip

Painting Easter eggs is too much fiddly work for you. This Easter, you’d rather dip the eggs in a bath of whipped cream and food coloring. The result is sure to impress.

Step 1: Place the hard-boiled eggs in a bowl of vinegar for two minutes. Don’t skip this step, because vinegar helps the food coloring adhere better to the egg. Once you’ve taken them out of the vinegar bath, dry the eggs with paper towels.

Step 2: Many how-to guides use Cool Whip, American imitation whipped cream. You can’t find it in the Netherlands. You can use cold, firmly whipped cream, but shaving foam works perfectly too. Whichever you choose: put it in a bowl and mix in plenty of food coloring. Create swirl effects with a skewer.

Step 3: Place the eggs in the mixture, roll them through it, and then cover them completely. Leave the eggs in it for fifteen minutes. Done? Carefully pat them dry with paper towels or an old cloth.
