Pizza delivered right to the gate

You’re waiting for your flight at Schiphol and suddenly get hungry. Shit, you’re already at the gate and walking all the way back is a lot of effort. Okay, not exactly a problem you have every day, but still very annoying. Luckily, Schiphol now has a solution for that, together with Deliveroo.

Deliveroo now delivers your food to the gate from various restaurants at Schiphol. For example, sushi from Kebaya or a pizza from Street Food Market. You can even order your breakfast right from your seat. For now, you can only order food at gate E, for intercontinental flights; from March, it will also be possible at gate D.

You simply place your order via the app, just as you normally do with Deliveroo. The delivery drivers come by scooter and deliver your food to the right gate. Within 15 minutes, your hunger is satisfied. It is still a trial for now, which Schiphol will evaluate at the end of March. If it turns out there is demand for it, it will become a permanent service. So everyone, start ordering en masse at the gate.

Deliveroo at Schiphol is open daily from 7:00 to 20:30 until the end of March 2018.
