Responsible Vodka Drinking

In the run-up to December 1, aka World AIDS Day, Belvedere is launching a limited edition, part of the proceeds of which will go towards the fight against HIV/AIDS. Drinking an entire bottle of vodka has never felt so good.

Vodka is sometimes your best friend. When you arrive at a party where everyone is already at level 100 on the drunkenness scale, when you need to drink away your sorrows or when you have something to celebrate. In all those cases, vodka seems like a good idea.
The Hangover
However, the next morning you may get the feeling that you’ve done something wrong. You text your fellow partygoers things like ‘that vodka perhaps wasn’t such a good idea after all’ and ‘my head is exploding from the headache, how are your heads doing?’ And when you then realize that you have no idea how you got home, you may even think ‘I’m never drinking vodka again’. In short, vodka can leave you feeling rotten afterwards.
No worries
Fortunately, Belvedere is making responsible vodka drinking possible with a new limited edition. Belvedere has joined forces with (RED) and The Global Fund; together, the parties ensure that 50% of the profits from these limited edition bottles go towards the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa. So the headache is worth it. After all, you supported a good cause by finishing that bottle. Just text your friends the next morning.
Recipe for a Belvedere Martini
Of course, you can simply drink your vodka with a few ice cubes. Easy and effective. But vodka is also perfect for making delicious cocktails. This one, for example, is fresh, fruity and super easy:
60 milliliters Belvedere Vodka
10 milliliters sweet vermouth
5 milliliters Maraschino liqueur (cherry liqueur)
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters (or another herbal bitter)
Stir all the ingredients with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with orange peel. Voilà.
