Rosé lovers, take note! You won’t want to miss this rosé brunch with Whispering Angel
Are you also crazy about rosé wine? Then here’s a tip for you! Château d’Esclans, known for Whispering Angel rosé, is hosting a special rosé brunch at the beautiful Nela restaurant in Amsterdam. What to expect? You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Whispering Angel. This will be followed by a Provence-inspired six-course menu with matching wines from the famous winery. And as a bonus, there will also be live entertainment.
An extensive lunch with rosé—can you think of a better way to spend the weekend? As soon as the sun starts shining, we open a bottle of rosé. Rosé at the table
So much rosé is served on terraces that people sometimes forget rosé is also a wonderful wine to pair with food. Naturally, Provençal dishes, such as a Niçoise salad, are made to be enjoyed with rosé. The combination with lamb is delicious, and lighter dishes from the barbecue also pair very well with rosé. At Nela, much of the cooking is done over fire, so these will make fantastic pairings. Here’s a little preview: among other things, Sole a la Meuniére and Tarte tartin will be served.
Cost of the rosé brunch
The menu, including a glass of Whispering Angel, costs 79 euros. Alongside the Whispering Angel, other wines from the winery will be served, such as Chåteau d’Esclans Garrus and Chåteau d’Esclans Les Clans.
