Special one-day wine bar
Exactly one year ago, a wave of shock and disbelief swept through the Dutch wine world. Out of the blue, the young and talented sommelier and winemaker Lotte Wolf passed away. In her memory, a one-day wine bar will open next month.
Weinerei WOLF
The temporary wine bar, called WOLF, is located at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam. Not a coincidental choice, as Lotte was the wine director here. The wine bar is a ‘Weinerei’ based on the Berlin model, where you can settle the bill afterwards, based on your own estimate of how many glasses you drank. There are various wines on the menu, including the wines Lotte made herself in South Africa, with the fitting name: Touch of Dutch.
The wine bar is open on Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7, from 16:00 to 22:00.
