The transformation of the city beach began five years ago. It now consists of seven sections, including various bars, restaurants and event venues.

On May 12, they will celebrate the reopening with drinks, and you can dip your toes in the sand behind the Amsterdam RAI for the first time. From then on, Strandzuid aims to remain open all year round, regardless of the season.

During the winter months, the Amsterdam beach transforms from Strandzuid into Zuidpool. It then gets a different look to match the name and the season.

The renovated beach pavilion is located by the pond behind the RAI, at Europaplein 22.
