After keeping its doors closed for weeks, the hospitality industry finally reopened last Monday (and yes, of course we went out right away!). Sandwich chain Subway is also allowed to serve generously filled sandwiches again and is launching a new sub especially for this reopening: ‘The Friendlong’.

Having lunch at an appropriate distance—how do you do that? After a lot of puzzling, Subway found the answer to this question and came up with this new sandwich as a brilliant solution. ‘The Friendlong’ is 1.5 (!) meters long. Ideal, then, for sharing with your table companions while maintaining a safe distance of 1.5 meters. The XL sandwich comes with all the trimmings and is filled with whatever you feel like. A top deal made for reunions.

Time to order!

You can order ‘The Friendlong’ sub from now on at all Subways throughout the Netherlands, and it costs 30 euros.
