Taiwan and Japan at Slowth Brunch

slowth brunch

When we think of brunch, we often think of classic eggs or a crispy scone. Always delicious, but at Slowth Brunch in Amsterdam they serve brunch with Taiwanese and Japanese influences. And we’re very curious about that too.

Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is known as the best Asian city for street food. Those flavors, combined with those of our favorite food country, Japan, all make their way into the dishes. You can order brick brioche with peanut butter and condensed milk, for example, as well as matcha yogurt with red bean paste.

Fluffy pancakes

There are also savory options, such as a Taiwanese burrito, a sandwich with tuna and Japanese roasted sesame sauce, or a bun with Taiwanese sausage. The menu also features several types of Japanese hot cakes – the tallest, fluffiest pancakes you’ll ever come across.

Relaxed

So there’s plenty to choose from. The sloth in the logo represents the relaxed atmosphere they want to convey. This could easily be the perfect place to work as well.
