Amsterdam Dance Event is a major event. During the music festival, the Dutch capital is in the global spotlight. Big names from the electronic music scene perform at various venues. People from all over the world buy tickets to see these greats spin records. During the five days that Amsterdam Dance Event takes place (18 to 22 October), more than 2,200 artists perform. Last year, around 375,000 electronic music enthusiasts attended the festival, making ADE the biggest club festival in the world.

Buns and bubble tea

On Thursday 19 October, you can stuff yourself with Taiwanese specialities such as bao buns and bubble tea while playing a game of mah jongg. The Taiwanese Night Market is organised by Jaachi, a Taiwanese organisation—as if that comes as a surprise. Jaachi has everything needed for a mini-festival within the larger, overarching ADE organisation: snacks, drinks, games and, of course, great music. Here you can check who is playing.
