The food line-up of: Shoeless

Dancing for hours at festivals makes you hungry. But what do you choose when the food line-up is overwhelming and you have no idea whether to go for fish tacos, banana bread or vegetable curry? FavorFlav will help you get through the summer and recommends the best places to satisfy your hunger.

This week: Shoeless – 4 & 5 June – Amsterdam
This weekend you can dance at Shoeless for the last time. After dozens of Shoeless parties, the organization is calling it a day, but not without one final blast at Ruigoord. Good news: there are still a few tickets left.
Shoeless normally doesn’t reveal anything about the line-up of acts, but especially for FavorFlav, the organization is lifting a tip of the veil this year. So, are you going to Shoeless this weekend? Above all, don’t forget to dance by all those special food spots. Everything vegetarian, just like the German Fusion and this Dutch festival.
Koffieshop August
This is where you can get a hot cup of fair-chain coffee. And you can dance on the roof of the bus, because there’s a stage up there.
Laih Laih
Have your palm read while slurping a bowl of nettle soup. What does it taste like? There’s only one way to find out.
Loco’s Kitchen
The boys from Loco’s Kitchen put all kinds of delicious things on the grill for you and also perform in between. They’re in a band, too. Multi-talented, then.
Vrouw met de Baard
Do you love dancing to Indo food? Then stop by this tent, where you can eat Indo-fusion dishes. Not standard festival food at all, and all the better for it.
De Banaanhangwagen
For many festivalgoers, the banana is the ultimate party snack. That works out well, because at this tent they do everything with bananas and tell you what else you can do with them besides simply eating them.
The Everybody Loves Jahl Muri Express
Angus has come all the way from England and sells Jahl Muri from his Indian cart, a kind of puffed rice. The absolute pride of the festival.
Peter Praliné
Need omega-3? Stop by Peter’s little fish restaurant for prawns, mussels and home-smoked mackerel.
The Cricket, Olive and Prosecco Study
Take part in this groundbreaking study. Marc and his friends are researching people’s drinking traditions. Can cricket-olive-prosecco become as much of a classic as tequila-lemon-salt? We think it’ll be difficult, but it’s fun nonetheless.
