The Giga Big Mac

You can now only get this Burgerzilla at McDonald’s in Japan.

McDonald’s seems to have taken the ‘healthy’ route in some countries, but not in Japan. There, you can now buy a burger that is three times as big as usual, with the fitting name Giga Big Mac. It has considerably more meat on it, and the diameter is also larger than that of a regular Big Mac. The fries and a Coke in the meal are both twice as large as usual.
Monks’ beer
Benedict of Nursia was the founder of the Benedictine monastery in Italy centuries ago. Nowadays, it is mainly home to American monks, and last month they launched their own Birra Nursia. The faithful have been brewing their own beer since the Middle Ages. Not exactly a logical combination, but beer is even the only thing monks are allowed to consume during Lent.
The men started brewing beer to provide for their livelihood, and they see it as a bridge to society. According to the monks, people are afraid of churches and faith nowadays, but they do enjoy talking about beer. It is still unclear how much beer is produced, as they also have to pray eight times a day.
Avocados all over the place
