The ‘Pizza Box Pizza’

Do you want pizza? Then you get pizza. And why actually put it in a cardboard box when you can also make a box out of pizza crust?

That must be what the creator of the pizza box pizza thought: it’s a pizza delivered in a box made of pizza crust. Earlier, Sean Berthiaume, co-owner of Vinnie’s pizzeria in Brooklyn, came up with the Pizza Inception. A kind of pie made from stacked slices. Perhaps he’ll combine these two inventions someday: pizza on pizza inside pizza.

Basketball players go halal

The basketball players from Thunder, a team from Oklahoma, became completely enamored with Turkish cuisine after eating a halal lamb skewer. And now? Now the entire team eats halal. The team’s backup center, Enes Kanter, is Muslim and always ordered his own food after games. When a teammate decided one day to eat his entire order and order a second portion for him, a battle began. Everyone wanted Kanter’s food because they liked it so much. And what do you do then? You search as a team for the best Turkish restaurants to eat even more of those delicious skewers.

Mother’s Day dinner

This coming weekend is Mother’s Day, and The Hunger Project is ‘celebrating’ it with the biggest Mother’s Day dinner. In collaboration with the Nationale Postcode Loterij and one thousand people, dinner will be served this weekend for charity.
