The Rijksmuseum Cookbook: Art on Your Plate

The dishes in the new Rijksmuseum cookbook are inspired by fifty typically Dutch ingredients. Brussels sprouts, chicory and flat beans, as well as dairy and fish.

All these quintessentially Dutch ingredients can be found in many of the paintings in the renowned Dutch museum. The book contains 130 recipes created by fifty chefs, including Robert Kranenborg and Jonnie Boer. Jonah Freud, culinary journalist and owner of De Kookboekenhandel in Amsterdam, compiled the book.
